Decorated in the RAC's signature blue and white with black trim, it is registered PTE 779.The motorcycle and sidecar was a popular form of transport from the 1930s right up to the 1950s and one of its key users was the RAC who employed patrols of uniformed mechanics offering roadside assistance to its motoring Royal Automobile Club members.
